Treats Rewards
PetSmart’s free loyalty program earns 10 points for every $1 spent, and every 1,000 points is worth $2 off. Bestie and VIPP members earn extra points on every dollar.

Autoship
Autoship takes 35% off your first order, up to $20 in savings, then 5% off every recurring order. You need to be signed in to Treats Rewards for the discount.
Some brands add their own first-order Autoship deals, like the Hill’s and Pro Plan offers above. Autoship members also earn bonus points through PetSmart’s Autoship Points Payout.

PetSmart’s Coupon Policy
PetSmart accepts more coupon types than many shoppers expect. That includes paper competitor coupons for the exact same item, as long as they have a barcode.
One coupon is allowed per purchase unless the coupon says otherwise, and coupons may not combine with other offers. The coupon’s value can’t be more than the item.
Online promo codes go in the cart one at a time, and they’re case sensitive. Adding a second code can cancel one already applied.
Promo Codes
PetSmart releases sitewide codes from time to time, like SAVE20 for an extra 20% off thousands of items online. These usually run for a week or two.
Check the banner at the top of petsmart.com and your PetSmart emails for current codes. Codes from coupon sites are often expired or limited to certain products.
Sales and Clearance
PetSmart runs category sales throughout the year, such as aquarium, small pet and bird food deals. Watch for buy one, get one discounts on food and supplies.
Clearance items in store can be heavily discounted, often because of packaging changes. Clearance prices can’t be price matched, but they can still earn Treats points.
Price Matching
If a direct-selling competitor has the identical, in-stock item for less, PetSmart will match it. It also matches its own website price for in-store purchases.

Saving at the Salon Every Visit
Treats members can earn two 5,000-point Salon Reward Certificates a year by booking a bath or groom two months in a row. Each is worth $10 off almost anything at PetSmart.
Walk-in services and prepaid package visits don’t count toward the certificates, so book a regular appointment.
Stacking Your Savings
Start with the lowest shelf or matched price, then add your single best coupon or code. Redeem Treats points last so they cover whatever balance is left.
Coupons may not combine with other discounts, so ask at the register if you’re unsure. Treats points usually still earn on whatever you pay.

PetSmart’s coupon policy mentions coupons from its Adoption Kit, so new adopters often go home with savings. Ask about it when you adopt at a PetSmart adoption center.
New grooming customers get $20 off a first prepaid bath or groom. Setting up Autoship for food from day one locks in the 35% first-order discount.
Receipt Coupons
PetSmart prints coupons on some receipts, and its policy accepts them on later visits. Keep receipts in your wallet or snap a photo of the coupon.
Each coupon can only be used once and must be scannable. Check the expiry date before you go.
Saving on Big Purchases
For expensive items like aquariums, crates and cat trees, timing matters most. Wait for a category sale, then check whether a competitor price match beats it.
Afterpay can split a large purchase into four interest-free payments. It doesn’t lower the price, but it spreads the cost.

Say you buy a $60 bag of dog food every month. Autoship takes about $20 off the first order, then $3 off each order after, and you earn 600 Treats points each time.
Over a year, that’s roughly $53 in Autoship savings plus about $14 in points. Add a brand offer like $15 off a future purchase, and you’re near $80 back on food alone.

Gift Cards and Rewards Portals
Some credit card and travel rewards programs let you redeem points for retailer gift cards. Buying a PetSmart gift card this way and using it during a sale adds another layer of savings.
